Mrs Joy Richardson is Anguilla’s latest proud achiever.
Mrs Joy Richardson who was born Joy Thompson, to Enid Thompson of Stoney Ground, is the proud recipient of a Masters degree in Air Transport Management.
Mrs Joy Richardson is someone who is a humble and respectable person who was educated atStoneyGroundPrimary SchoolandAlbenaLakeHodgeComprehensiveSchoolwhere she graduated in 1996 with 5 cxc subjects.
Joy’s tertiary education begun in 1997 when she attended the Trinidad and Tobago based Civil Aviation Training Centre and successfully graduated, in December of the said year, as the youngest Air Traffic Control Officer at the age of 18.
Her education never stopped there as she obtained many certificates along the way in and out of the aviation field.
Since aviation is her passion, Joy embarked on a journey to further her education in aviation, and in 2009 she was admitted toCityUniversityinLondonand in 2011 successfully completed and passed all 3 stages as required byCityUniversity.
The completion of the 3 stages earned her a Masters degree in Air Transport Management, and on January 27th 2012 Mrs Richardson proudly graced the stage at the Guild Hall inLondonand accepted her degree.
Her family take this time to congratulate her on her latest achievement and wish her all the best with her future endeavours.
Joy would like to thank all who stood by her during her quest for further education.
