Anguilla is host country for the 40th Leeward Island Debate Competition. Last year it felt great giving back to the community and this year is no different.

As a young man, myself, it gives me great pleasure to contribute to the future ofAnguilla. Ever since my first contribution, I feel obligated every year to support these brilliant young people as they representAnguilla. Today I pledge my support of $1000.00 EC dollars. It is for a good cause and I know we have some very good debaters that will make us all proud.  This year it is taking place on our home turf and I know our young people are hungry for the gold. Last year, in Tortola, they made it to the finals againstNevisand narrowly lost. This year Nevis comes toAnguillaso we are looking forward to a very competitive match up again. Good luck to all of the islands, but best of luck toAnguilla!
