The former Anguillian Police Sergeant, who joined the Leeward Islands Police Force in 1954, served for many years in St. Kitts and later in Anguilla in the late 1960s. He migrated to Quebec, Canada, in 1969 where he qualified in Accounting and worked with several firms, while also serving as Verger at the Anglican Church of Saint James The Apostle for 29 years. Gomez died on September 17 at the age of 78.
