“Progress is more about direction than it is about making things happen in little time.” (Author unknown.)
A little over six years ago, I began my journey into the sport of bodybuilding knowing that it would be the hardest thing I would ever attempt to do. Yet all the enthusiasm, pep talks and knowledge could not prepare me for the challenges to come. Over the years I have learned to be disciplined and mentally focused in achieving my goals. Sometimes you have to want it more than the other guy so you have to ask yourself constantly: “Am I doing my best?”

What I love about bodybuilding is the tremendous respect you get for leading a healthy and disciplined life. Some people are motivated to take better care of their bodies, others are inspired to take whatever dreams they have and make them happen. I am just blessed to be in a position to make a difference. Nothing is more satisfying than knowing that my achievements helped motivate others to become healthier beings.
My mentors: just to name two – Lee Haney and Frank Zane. I admire these guys for different reasons, but most of all for their hard work and dedication to win. In this sport you have to be prepared to fight and stay mentally focused on what you want to achieve.
In 2009, I had an appendectomy which took me out of training for six months. During that time I made an effort to further increase my knowledge in weight training and dieting. After much preparation I decided to compete in the 2010 Mr. Anguilla Bodybuilding Show. Despite the previous physical challenges, I stepped on stage and captured first place in the lightweight category and was also awarded most improved athlete of the year.

These unforeseen accomplishments gave me greater motivation to work on further improving my overall physique and breakthrough to my full potential.

In 2011, my journey continued: 2011 Mr. Anguilla Bodybuilding Championship – 2nd place in the lightweight division; and 2011 Inter-Island Bodybuilding Championship – 2nd place in the lightweight division.

As I continue to train and prepare to take part in other shows, I would like to thank God for life and blessings. To my fans and the people who encouraged me along the way such, as Joseph Pradel, Vernon (Twidy) Carty, Haydn Hughes, Marissa Hughes, Verdine Connor and my family, I wish to say, “thank you!”
