The AnguillianDear Sir,UNAUTHORIZED MOU SAID TO COST ANGUILLA ECS18 MILLION

Please permit me to comment briefly on the matter at caption that was in your paper of Friday 23rd September, 2011.

I noted that you have reproduced a report that is on one of the blogs. I therefore assume that you were satisfied that the report is authentic. I also noted that Mr Victor Banks reproduced the same report in his article captioned, “Who we gonna run to?” I paid special attention to his statement: “I do not know whether The Anguillian newspaper will carry the statement since it is not an official release from the Governor, therefore I have no choice but to quote it in its entirety for ease of reference and to highlight the unpeachable truths it contains.”So, the conclusion of the matter is that the Governor’s memo to Exco was deliberately leaked to the public. And, now that we know, is that the end of the matter, or will the press investigate further?Richard V. Hobson
