The participants were drawn mainly from youth organisations of the congregation, but included attendees from other Methodist congregations in the Circuit as well as young people from other denominations.

The programme was designed to bring young people together to participate in various learning activities and at the same time create a sense of community and partnership among participants. Activities included Bible study, Bible videos, arts ands craft; hymn stories, drama, story-writing and a picnic. The participants were divided into three teams for activities and camp chores designed to encourage inter-team competitions to help promote teamwork.

Chaplain at the camp was Rev. Rose Marie Julius, Pastor of the congregation. At the closing ceremony she expressed thanks to all the participants for making the programme an enjoyable yet learning experience. She was also grateful to the many volunteers who worked hand in hand to ensure that the camp went smoothly.

One of the Camp Directors, Brother Kenn Banks, said he was extremely pleased with the conduct of the participants who demonstrated a real spirit of love and camaraderie among each other. He stated that the week passed without any negative incidents and ended on a high note with a picnic at nearby Crocus Bay.

Funding for the programme was provided mainly by members of the congregation and private sector organisations.
