Anguilla Cancer Society Launches Donation Boxes Campaign

Let’s join hands in the fight against cancer.

The Anguilla Cancer Society has launched its Donation Boxes Campaign which involves placing donation boxes at different business locations in Anguilla. There is a growing need for monetary contributions to assist persons with medical expenses for cancer treatment and to assist persons with medical checks to enable early detection of cancer. These checks include mammograms, Pap smear, Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA), biopsies and others.

The Anguilla Cancer Society is reaching out to the wider community to come on board in the fight against cancer because Cancer is Everybody’s Business: meaning cancer has no face or preferences. No one knows if or when cancer may affect him/her or his/her loved ones. To date the Anguilla Cancer Society has helped numerous persons in Anguilla with medical assistance and the Society would like to continue. However, the Society needs the assistance of the general population in this venture. When visiting any of the location where boxes are placed, please remember to put a donation of any size into the boxes. Every contribution is appreciated. Presently donation boxes are located at:

• J. W. Proctor Supermarket
• Best Buy West
• ABC Supplies

• Ashley & Sons (The Valley & Blowing Point)
• Anguilla Electricity Company
• Cuisinart Resort & SPA
• Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla

If your business would like to support the Anguilla Cancer Society in this campaign – by placing a box at your business – please feel free to contact the Anguilla Cancer Society at 235-8282 or 584-9292. The Society would like to take this opportunity to thank all persons and spons

ors that have assisted and will continue to assist others to battle this expensive and life- threatening disease. Together we can make a difference in the lives of persons diagnosed with cancer. Give Today!
